How to Hide Local Drive of Your Computer



You have a computer and you want to use it personally? But if you have any brother or sister they also want to use it sometime. And may sometime they will use your computer when you are absence. Suppose you have some very personal file or think about your boy friend or girl friend's photo. They might find out the photo or open your personal file, what will be your condition then?
OK! I think you have a solution and you are thinking about lock the importing folder. This is a good option but not better. Because, when your brother or sister ask you "why this folder is locked"? What you will say then? I think you have no answer.
Now , think that your one of your local disk is totally hidden. Nobody will see the folder. So, this will be your best choice


Process:
Go to the "Run" option and write "gpedit.msc" and click OK.
Than you'll get two option. Computer Configuration and User Configuration. Double click on User Configuration.
Next you have double click on "Administrative Templates" .
After that double click on "Windows Components".
Than find out Windows explorer and double click on "windows explorer".
Find "Hide these specified drives in my computer" than double click on it.
You'll get a new window where you find three option. Mark enabled and pick the drive which you want to hide. You can also hide all of your drive.
Click OK. Your job is done.


Unhide the hidden drive: 


Follow the process of hidden drive from 1 to 6. Than where you mark enabled before you have to mark disabled option and click OK. You drive will be unhidden.
